Lydian String Quartet
I joined the Naumburg Award winning Lydian String Quartet and the music faculty of Brandeis University in June of 2002. With the Lyds I have performed a wide range of repertory in Boston, New England, and all over the USA, from works of the classical masters Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven to great romantic works of Brahms, Dvorak, Franck, Mendelssohn, Schubert, and Schumann; from the seminal twentieth century works of Bartok, Berg, Debussy, Ornstein, Ravel, Schoenberg, and Webern to exciting new works by today's living composers. My experience working with contemporary composers complements the Lyds' many years of collaborative work with Yu-Hui Chang, Eric Chasalow, John Harbison, Lee Hyla, Donald Martino, Harold Meltzer, David Rakowski, Kurt Rohde, Yehudi Wyner, and many more.
